Kara and Jason tie the wet knot
Kara and Jason had planned for their Florida wedding to have tons of water. Getting married at the pool, photos on the beach and so on. I guess Mother Nature decided she would offer them more water in the form of rain!! But the couple, very easy-going took it in stride and went with the flow...so to speak. And somewhere they had even heard that rain was good luck, so I decided to look it up and find out. Indeed they were right it is good luck! It comes from several cultures mainly from the Hindu with the idea that a wet knot is harder to untie. Since marriage is often referred to as tying the knot. Rain was also a symbol of fertility to agricultural societies, since rain restored and maintained the wellness of crops. Crops were peoples main source of stability and income so it was thought to guarentee a long happy marriage!
And if you saw how much they love and care for one another, it fits them to a tee!!
The photos were still beautiful, the Palms of Destin is an awesome place to photograph! Enjoy!
